October 8th holds a special place in the hearts of everyone who had the chance to meet Antonella. She is remembered on this day in many different ways. St. Hugo of the Hills celebrated and remembered Antonella on her birthday by decorating the 3rd grade hall in her honor. They posted signs throughout the hall and had purple balloons and butterflies in her memory. The school also enjoyed a pizza lunch! Later that day, the 3/4 grade football team defeated Northern Oakland Catholic 19-6. The boys and the coaches, in Antonella's memory, wore a purple band around their wrist definitely feeling her spirit with them on the field. The AI Memorial Foundation and Antonella's family appreciates the overwhelming support for all that was done in her memory on this day.
